The Christmas tree lighting ceremony is preceded by an interesting cultural programme. In the square there are also stalls available, offering the traditional Advent or Christmas products and refreshments.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
It is a beautiful traditional event, during which people gather in Krakonošovo Square on the first Sunday of Advent
not only to witness a ceremony of a big Christmas tree lighting, but also to stop for a little while at the beginning
of the Advent season, to slow down for a moment, to meet and talk to their friends.
